Shipwrecks

you’re the one who

taught me to swim afar

to fight with sharks

to reach for the stars

but I don’t want to

live in the middle

of the storm

any more.

I need to remind myself that when

it’s all about shipwrecks and hurricanes

that doesn’t mean it’s love.
