Writers are summarizers
we summarized what we’ve learned
what we’ve seen, what we’ve experienced
we put it in a song, in a poem, in a book
we told others our heart and soul
we wrote down our life stories,
our legacy, “something to remember us by”
but didn’t we all realize
that some of those things
cannot be put into words
no matter how much we tried to?
