people might try to belittle you
contain you, divide you up
into different kinds of cups
but you are not water in a glass, aren’t you
you’re not there for them to conclude
“half full or half empty”
when they burn you, you vaporise
you break that glass as you turn into ice
you are the big ocean,
an underwater tsunami
you rise as high as their skyscrapers
and you refuse to be undermined
as anything lower.
