Fighting Anxiety

Waking up with anxiety

a burning sensation in my chest

“now now, take deep breaths”

I opened my eyes

“is it real or is it all in my head?”

my dream was turning me upside down

like a haunted house

it’s fun and exhilarating

but I was trying so hard to get out.

anxiety is like sleep paralysis

be present, don’t hide away

connect with your own body and mind

no matter how hard it tries to get in,

you will win.

(I know it’s hard but we can overcome it. Have some relaxing music on. Try yoga. It’s a every day fight, trust me)
